Color FAQ

Q: What color service should I book?

A: The best way to determine what service you need is by booking a consultation with your stylist for an in-depth analysis and the most accurate price quote and time estimate. You can also text us with a current photo of your hair and an inspo picture of your goal hair. Please allow up to 24 hours within business hours for a response.

Q: What is the difference between your color services?

A: We have plenty of services to fit specific end results and needs of each client!

Moonlit Blonde/Bronde/Rouge

Looking for the ultimate transformation? Whether this is your first time coloring your hair or it's been a couple years since your last color, this dimensional lived-in color will give you the best Pinterest worthy hair! This service includes highlight/foilayage, droplight/painted ends, root smudge, toner/gloss, and bond builder strengthening treatment and a light trim on the ends. In salon service time 4-6 hours. Allows 3-6 months in between salon visits.

Foilayage

This technique combines baby lights, hand painting and teasing in a foil to achieve maximum lightness while maintaining a low maintenance finish. This look is lighter and brighter than a traditional foil or balayage service. Includes root smudge, gloss, and bond builder, along with a light trim and blow dry. In salon service 3-5 hours.

Balayage

A French technique also known as "Balayage" that creates a subtle and warm finish. This color technique allows guests to extend their color services longer in between salon visits. Ideal for guests with medium brown to light blonde hair. Does not include toner/gloss, haircut, or blow dry.

Highlight

Traditional foil highlights are ideal to lighten hair for added dimension and brightness. Does not include a toner/gloss, haircut, or blow dry.

Babylight

Babylights are foil highlights where hair is sectioned very finely—just a few strands at a time—to achieve an effect that is subtle, natural-looking and sun-kissed. Does not include a toner/gloss, haircut, or blow dry.

Q: Should I book a full, partial, or full?

A: A full highlight/balayage/foilayage is typical for the first session, or when you feel like you need to be a lot brighter throughout.

A partial highlight/balayage/foilayage covers the face-frame, hairline and part line. Can be done on a first appointment for a sun-kissed effect and typically done to maintain your color.

A face-frame highlight/balayage is either a touch up appointment for a client who want brightness around their face or a first session to create a money-piece.
